Hanged Kentucky census worker killed self?

A case with more question’s than answers. A case that eerily resembled a Charle’s Manson type plot. Especially when Nancy Pelosi came out and said the rhetoric from Conservatives is violently charged and we could see blood shed.
In mid September of this year, a Kentucky census worker was found naked and bound with duct tape, hanging from a tree with the word “fed” written on his chest. The scene of a horrible senseless murder to anyone who walked upon it.
Speculation ran frantic. Did this man fall victim to some sort of anti-government sentiment because Obama is rushing the nation towards socialism? Was it a way for some “Kentuckian” to take out his racial aggression on a man who’s working for a black man? Did this man uncover some sort of drug transaction or witness a crime?
All the speculation came to a screeching halt when authorities said that Bill Sparkman killed himself and staged his death to make it look like a homicide.
And of course the conclusion that this man died by suicide and not from some anti-government “right-wing” nut most certainly ruined the day of liberal blogger’s across the country.
But I felt from day one this case was odd. The story almost hidden and kept quite for a couple months after the fact. And I can not get over the timing of this staged murder.
But I do have a correction to make. I thought Pelosi came out with her teary eyed comment before the body was discovered. I was wrong. She would have known about this “staged” murder for at least 4 day’s prior to her comments. Which also could have prompted her in saying what she did in the first place. A typical opportunist.
Authorities for the first time released details such as Sparkman’s wrists being taped up so loosely that he could have done the taping himself. State Police Capt. Lisa Rudzinski said an analysis found that the word ” fed “ on his chest was written from the bottom up.
He was also touching the ground almost to his knees and to survive ” all Mr. Sparkman had to do at any time was stand up,” she said. Authorities said Sparkman was not under the influence of any drugs or alcohol at the time of his death. His clothes were found in the bed of his nearby pickup truck.
Our investigation, based on evidence and witness testimony, has concluded that Mr. Sparkman died during an intentional, self-inflicted act that was staged to appear as a homicide.
Now naturally, Sparkman’s mother rolled her eye’s at the conclusion: “I disagree!” she wrote in an e-mail to The Associated Press.
Of course Sparkman’s mother would disagree. No one want’s to admit that a loved one was so distraught, they would take one’s life. And when the scene looked like a murder, that’s all the doubt a mother need’s.
Authorities said Sparkman alone manipulated the suicide scene, which was so elaborate that a man who discovered the body was convinced Sparkman was murdered.
Rudzinski said Sparkman told a credible witness that he planned to commit suicide and provided details on how and when. Authorities wouldn’t say who Sparkman told of his plan, but said Sparkman talked about it a week before his suicide and the person did not take him seriously. He told the person he believed his lymphoma, which he had previously been treated for, had returned.
Sparkman also had recently taken out two accidental life insurance policies totaling $600,000 that would not pay out for suicide, authorities said. One policy was taken out in late 2008; the other in May.
Sparkman’s son Josh, previously told AP that his father had named him as his life insurance beneficiary. Josh Sparkman said earlier this month he found paperwork for the private life insurance policy among his father’s personal files but wasn’t sure of the amount. Police wouldn’t say who the beneficiary was.
This guy for whatever reason that made sense in his mind, tried to ride the tide of anti-government sentiment. Police said Sparkman had discussed perceived negative views of the federal government in the county he decided to take his life in.
What I’m more interested in is understanding his goal by making his death look like it contained anti-government sentiment? Was it politically motivated? Or was it a way to take advantage of the stereotype in that county to help him get that life Insurance money?
My opinion, it was both. But I do think he tried to become a martyr for the twisted liberal left. Or was it the other way around? We will never know.
