New Whistle tunes!

Published by Robb at 3:46 pm under Uncategorized

So I was bored the other day and  bored today.   I’m simply tired of  the news.   I’m tired of  hearing about this fraud in the White House.  I’m tried of  hearing about this socialist Healthcare plan.   Tired of seeing that nasty old  bag Pelosi’s face.   And I’m depressed over hearing about the Muslim dog who murdered 13 unsuspecting  U.S. soldiers at a Texas military post.

Just sick of  it all!   So as I get into little funks like this,  I do what sooths me. I do what takes my mind away from the politics and ridiculous nonsense on the news.

So I started playing around with some tune’s on my Irish whistle.  Now mind you, I’m nothing that great. But I know I’m  not too bad either.   I’m better than some, not as good as other’s. lol

So I made up this tune the other day.  I don’t know what you think of it, but it’s just something I made up and keep messing around with in my mind.  Until finally, the other day,  decided to try and record something.   This is the final result.

I call this … Taylor’s Tune.

Now this tune I just did today.  I arranged this today and  think  it’s turned out rather nicely.   This is an Irish Lullaby called;  ” Gartan Mother’s Lullaby “.

Now this song had eluded me for years and years.  I couldn’t remember the name of it.   Until last night, my girl Barbara helped me locate it.  ” Thank you soo much! ”

But I really love this song.  Especially sung  by none other than ” Meryl Streep”.    Yeah can you believe it ?  I couldn’t either.

Both tunes were played with my Tony Dixon tuneable key of  D.  Also used the Tony Dixon Low D.

By the way,  if you want to hear this beautiful tune sung by Meryl Streep, check it out. Close your eye’s. You would think this was Enya or something.
