Four Iranian lawmakers plan to make a trip to the blockaded Gaza Strip next week by travelling through Egypt. This according to an Iranian news agency.
The four would enter Gaza through the Rafah crossing. The reports did not elaborate on the planned trip nor its intention.
As many of you remember, Iran wanted to try their luck by sending a Iranian ship named aptly; “The Infants of Gaza.”
But after nearly 6 day’s of a cooling off period, they decided it wasn’t a good idea. The decision to send the aid ship came after a May 31 Israeli commando raid on a Gaza-bound aid flotilla left nine Turkish pro-Palestinian activists dead and sparked international outrage.
The Islamic republic does not recognize Israel, and tensions have worsened between the two countries under President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad who has repeatedly said the Jewish state is doomed to disappear.
What’s the Iranian fascination of this Israeli blockade? It’s almost like a test Iran feel’s they must defy at all costs. Everyone knows Israel is serious, yet these bearded freak’s continue to reach a insane goal simply to say; “We beat them! “
Back in the Old American West, Native American’s would use a method against their enemies called; ” Counting Coup.” ( Pronounced; Ku )
The plains Indian’s would carry decorative sticks with feathers and animal skin’s into battle. A dangerous practice with deadly results to the Indian.
A relatively harmless act of bravery and war honor of the highest grade. Any blow struck against the enemy counted as a coup, but the most prestigious acts included touching an enemy warrior, with the hand or with a coup stick. The following night was filed with dance and food, as the warrior would recount the act of bravery to an excited tribe.
Are these Iranian nut’s doing the equivalent? Trying to win honor point’s within their mentally deranged government? In modern terms, Iranian members of government trying to make a name for themselves within it’s party?
I mean no disrespect to my Native American brother’s. But an act that even the Native American’s had to stop because of it’s deadly consequences with encounter’s with U.S. Cavalry units. More here >>
